Another first for a CA baby: Carter’s first quake!

From the awesome USGS Website we can see that we just got hit by a 3.4 earthquake, which doesn’t sound like a big deal, unless the epicenter is less than 3 miles SSE of your house! It felt like a mac truck drove into the building.

We were eating dinner at the table and both pretty much levitated over to where Carter was sleeping.

After we were sure things were ok for now I went to the shopping list and wrote down “Earthquake Preparedness Kit.” Being responsible for this little guy makes me feel a lot more….. responsible.
